Institute for Computational and Data Sciences
AI Hub / CAFE / industryXchange Poster Session
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM / May 19, 2026
The Penn State College of Engineering's industryXchange event on Tuesday, May 19, and Wednesday, May 20, aims to bring together Penn State faculty members and students, with government agencies and industry experts to jointly explore collaboration opportunities for research and student engagement.
The event will take place at the Nittany Lion Inn and will feature a number of panels, keynotes and breakout and networking sessions.
Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars are invited to participate in the May 19 student poster session that is coordinated by the Penn State Institute for Computational and Data Sciences (ICDS) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hub, the Center for Artificial Intelligence Foundations and Engineered Systems (CAFE), and industryXchange. The poster session will highlight recent advances in both foundational and applied AI. Posters can showcase research published in other peer-reviewed forums with appropriate acknowledgements. Topics that align with the thematic priorities of the industryXchange event are encouraged but not required. The themes include: AI for Construction; AI for Defense; AI for Health; and Powering AI. Regardless, posters must have a significant AI component to be considered.
Registration to the industryXchange event is required to submit a poster. Registration can be completed on the industryXchange website.
Deadline to submit posters is Wednesday, May 6, by 11:59 p.m. ET. Submissions should be completed via the Qualtrics form.
Registrations and submissions received after the deadline will not be accepted. This poster session has limited space.
