Free visitor parking at select lots during winter break

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Visitor parking will be free at select University Park campus parking areas from Wednesday, Dec. 24, through Friday, Jan. 2, according to Penn State Transportation Services. The initiative is designed to make it easier for visitors and community members to enjoy campus activities during the holiday season.

Complimentary parking will be available at the East, Eisenhower, HUB, Nittany, and West decks, as well as the Commuter lots (Stadium West, Jordan East, Porter North, and Porter South).

Free Parking for Intercollegiate Athletics events

Parking will be free for the following events during winter break:

Men’s Basketball vs. North Carolina Central at Bryce Jordan Center

  • Date: Monday, Dec. 29, 1 p.m.
  • Parking: Commuter lots

Women’s Ice Hockey vs. Cornell at Pegula Ice Arena

  • Date: Tuesday, Dec. 30, 6 p.m.
  • Parking: Commuter lots

Women’s Basketball vs. UCLA at Rec Hall

  • Date: Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2 p.m.
  • Parking: Nittany Deck and West Deck

Normal parking regulations resume Jan. 3 when the University reopens for regular operations.
