UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Transportation Services has announced changes to campus parking and transit services at University Park during the University's winter break.

Parking

Monday, Dec. 22 – Friday, Jan. 2

Weekend parking regulations will be in effect, which means that faculty/staff and student permit holders may park in all areas normally available to them during evening/weekend hours.

Monday, Dec. 22 – Friday, Jan. 9

Core (Brown, Green, Orange, Red, Silver, Yellow) faculty/staff permit holders may park at the following student lots from Monday, Dec. 22, through Friday, Jan. 9:

Wednesday, Dec. 24 – Friday, Jan. 2

Parking will be available at no charge in the on-campus parking decks (East, Eisenhower, HUB, Nittany and West) and the Commuter lots (Stadium West, Jordan East and Porter North).

Overnight restrictions between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. for the Commuter lots will remain in effect, and all reserved parking spaces such as ADA, service/delivery, etc. will remain reserved.

Department Vehicle Parking

Departments are asked to relocate University vehicles parked in surface parking areas to one of the campus parking decks during the winter break period.

If snowfall occurs over the break, parking these vehicles in the decks assists crews responsible for snow removal and surface treatment and ensures that vehicles are clear and available for use when needed.
