Campus parking and transit changes during spring break

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Transportation Services has announced campus parking and transit changes at University Park for Penn State's upcoming spring break week, scheduled for Monday, March 9, through Sunday, March 15.

Regular parking regulations remain in effect

All normal faculty/staff, student and visitor parking regulations will remain in effect during spring break.

However, core faculty/staff permits (Brown, Green, Orange, Red, Silver, Yellow) will be valid for parking at the following parking areas from Sunday, March 8, through Saturday, March 14:

Faculty, staff and students can also purchase daily parking for $4.35 per day at select lots around campus through the Tempo daily parking reservation program. Learn more at transportation.psu.edu/daily-parking-reservations.

CATA service changes

CATA will observe its Reduced Service schedule from Monday, March 9, through Sunday, March 15.

During this time, there will be no White Loop or Red Link campus service. Blue Loop campus service will remain available but will not operate on Sunday, March 15.

Campus shuttle changes

The Campus Shuttle via Beaver Avenue route will be reduced to two vehicles. The Campus Shuttle via College Avenue will run its normal service.

Transportation Services Office, Fleet Operations and Bike Den hours

The Transportation Services Office, Fleet Operations, and the Bike Den will observe normal office and building hours during spring break.

Student parking after spring break

Students not currently registered for on-campus parking who wish to return to campus after spring break with a vehicle must first purchase a permit via the online parking portal - https://psu.t2hosted.com/cmn/auth_ext.aspx.
