UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — For students seeking study incentives or peer assistance while completing mid-semester assignments and projects, Penn State University Libraries will host a Midterm Sprint event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, in Pattee Library’s Franklin Atrium. All students are welcome and the event is free.
The Midterm Sprint offers students a dedicated workspace with a variety of peer support services to assist with semester planning, research assistance and tutoring options. Students can work on their own or learn about — and get support from — peer services available to them across the University Park campus.
Snacks and a wellness activity will be offered, and the first 100 students who complete the activity will receive a Starbucks drink coupon.
The Midterm Sprint is sponsored by University Libraries, in partnership with Penn State Learning, the Chaiken Center for Student Success, and Health, Promotion and Wellness.
