UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A cross-University team — including Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT), Penn State IT and Commonwealth Campus Instructional Designers — has collaborated to develop the Learning Spaces Manager (LSM) portal, now available to the Penn State community.
The LSM portal features an intuitive interface designed to help users quickly find classrooms with layouts and technology to support their pedagogy. It currently includes classroom information and resources from 14 campuses and University Park general-purpose classrooms, with more campuses and features to be added over time.
“The Learning Spaces Manager is a powerful new resource for Penn State faculty and staff, offering quick access to detailed classroom information across the University,” said Senior Associate Vice Provost and Senior Associate Dean of Undergraduate Education Jeff Adams. “With intuitive search tools, classroom images and technology guides, LSM equips users with the tools they need to plan and teach with confidence.”
Resources vary by campus but may include multiple room photos, 360-degree images, classroom technology guides, support details and instructional materials. After logging in with Penn State credentials, users can explore classroom spaces using location menus and filters and even can “favorite" rooms to create a personalized list.
Visit the Learning Spaces Manager Portal for more information, to log in, browse user guides or find classroom support. For additional inquiries, contact the Penn State LSM team at learningspaces@psu.edu.
