Students recognized for leadership, service and campus involvement

2026 Service and Leadership Awards ceremony held in April

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Student Affairs recognized the recipients of the 2026 Service and Leadership Awards during a ceremony held April 15 at the HUB-Robeson Center.

Presented annually by the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement, a unit within the division of Student Affairs, the awards recognize students who have demonstrated leadership, service and involvement across the University and the broader community.

Penn State recognized both award recipients and nominees for their continued contributions and commitment to student leadership and civic engagement.

The 2026 Service and Leadership Award recipients are:

  • B.A. Boyer Family Scholarship for Student Affairs: Angela Lin, Daniel Ortiz, Demareste Dorvilma, Mouye Tall and Santana Kaufman
  • Charles and Sharon Bell Scholarship for Citizenship and Leadership: Amari Saunders, Bryce Berger, Emmanuel Kraft, Grant Jacoby, Haoua Tall and Isha Javiya
  • Craig and Maxine Millar Award: Jeremy Lynn
  • Felsburg Gohn Leadership Award: Nia Meyers
  • Jaime Desmond Leadership Scholarship: Isabelle Gapen
  • Jane Wood Reno Memorial Scholarship: Jawad Malik
  • John and Veda Black Award: Kaelonnah Darlich and Jude York
  • Mary Lee Hobbs Steel Emerging Leader Award: Olivia DeAntonio
  • Outstanding Adult Student Award: Bryce Martin and Irvin Moore
  • Smile for Sam Scholarship: Yara Amleh and Brooke Benevento
