UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Hundreds of employers will be coming to State College for one of the largest collegiate fairs in the country on Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bryce Jordan Center. The fair will include opportunities for non-technical full-time, technical full-time, internships and co-ops.

Career Services, a unit of Student Affairs, connects students with organizations from a variety of fields and industries. Students can research attending employers through the Spring Career Days website.

Interviews with employers will take place the following day, Wednesday, Jan. 29, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Bank of America Building (Career Services Center).

In addition to the career fair, on Monday, Jan. 27, Career Services will be hosting two events, "Diversity Dialogues" and "Resume Review Day," to help prepare students.

  • "Diversity Dialogues" is a dynamic, workshop-style event where recruiters and students from underrepresented backgrounds come together to authentically explore critical workplace topics, such as addressing microaggressions, navigating ageism and understanding equitable compensation and benefits. Diversity Dialogues will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in room 103 of the Bank of America Building.
  • "Resume Review Day" is an opportunity for students to engage with featured employers, refine their resumes, gain valuable industry insights, and build professional connections ahead of Spring Career Day. Students can get a sense of what hiring managers and recruiters truly value, giving them an inside look into the hiring process. Resume Review Day will be held from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Bank of America Building, first-floor lobby.

Leading up to the fair, students can visit the Bank of America Building for drop-in consultations, counseling appointments, mock interviews and to check out the Professional Attire Closet.  Visit the Career Services website for more information about these opportunities and more.
