Registration open for July classes at the Center for Arts & Crafts at Penn State

The Center for Arts & Crafts at Penn State is now taking registrations for July 2025 art classes and workshops. UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Center for Arts & Crafts at Penn State is now taking registrations for July 2025 art classes and workshops. The center's classes are non-credit and designed to be relaxing and fun. Classes will begin the week of July 7.

There are a variety of classes to choose from, including: wheel-thrown pottery, acrylic painting, colored pencils, exploring native botanicals and stained glass, among many others. Classes and workshops are instructed by Penn State art and art education majors and local professional artists.

The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts also will be taking place the week of July 7, providing an additional opportunity to explore and enjoy the arts in the University Park community. 

All in-person classes are open to Penn State students, faculty and staff with a valid Penn State ID. Interested participants can register in person at 3 Ritenour Building.
