UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — More than 300 employers from across the country will be at the Bryce Jordan Center on Penn State’s University Park campus looking for student talent. Both full-time and internship opportunities will be offered to students on Sept. 16-18 during Fall Career Days.
The fair takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day in the Bryce Jordan Center. Each day the fair has a dedicated experience, such as full-time positions and internship/co-ops.
- Sept. 16 focuses on non-technical opportunities
- Sept. 17 focuses on internship and co-op opportunities
- Sept. 18 focuses on technical opportunities.
Employers who choose to host on-campus interviews with student candidates they meet at Fall Career Days will schedule those with students for Sept. 17-19 at the Bank of America Career Services Center.
Students can maximize their time at the fair by researching in advance. Those attending Fall Career Days are encouraged to understand which companies are coming each day, what positions they are recruiting for, and which might be a good fit for career goals. Participating employers are available on the Nittany Lion Careers website.
Fall Career Days is a collaborative event, organized by staff in Career Services and representatives from college career offices.
Leading up to and after the fair, students can visit the Bank of America Career Services Center for drop-in consultations, counseling appointments and mock interviews. Career Services, a unit in the division of Student Affairs, supports all students regardless of career interest or major. More information about these opportunities is available on the Career Services website. Students can also connect with college career offices that provide specialized support for their major and career goals.
