UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Smeal College of Business will welcome Dunkin' and Jimmy John's to the Business Building later this fall, bringing expanded dining and gathering options to one of the University's busiest academic buildings.
The new initiative will reestablish the café space as a central destination for students, faculty, staff, alumni and visitors, offering convenient food and beverage options throughout the day. For added convenience, it will also accept Penn State meal plans and LionCash.
"I'm thrilled to welcome Dunkin' and Jimmy John's to the Smeal community,” said Corey Phelps, John and Karen Arnold Dean of Penn State Smeal College of Business.
"From the start, we wanted this to be a decision made with our community, not just for it, and the response to the vendor presentations was fantastic," Phelps said. "The café is about so much more than coffee or lunch. It's one of those places where our community really comes together. I can't wait to see this space come back to life."
The effort reflects Smeal's commitment to enhancing the student experience and supporting a campus environment built around collaboration and community. Details regarding opening dates and hours of operation will be announced as they become available.
