DUNMORE, Pa. — Penn State Scranton will welcome community members, families, students, faculty and staff to its second annual Fall Festival on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the campus’ soccer field. All are welcome.
Designed to celebrate the autumn season and bring the campus and local community together, the festival will feature a variety of family-friendly activities and attractions, including live music, fall-themed games, a petting zoo, a fall foliage walk and a photo station.
Attendees also can enjoy complimentary local apple cider, a S'Mores station and food available for purchase from local food truck vendors. The event will also feature a special appearance by the Penn State Nittany Lion mascot, along with Penn State giveaways and other activities throughout the evening.
"We are excited to invite our neighbors and friends to campus for an evening of fall fun and community connection," said Assistant Director of Student Services and Engagement Nikki Paolicelli. "The Fall Festival is a wonderful opportunity for families, alumni, students and community members to experience all that Penn State Scranton has to offer while enjoying the beauty of the season."
