Q: What are your post-grad plans?
Sasscer: I plan to continue my work in real estate with Keller Williams, building on the experience and keeping up the momentum I gained during my internship.
Q: What was your favorite memory at Penn State Scranton?
Sasscer: My favorite memory was being inducted into Alpha Omega Nu’s Sigma Tau Delta honor society. It was a moment that made all my hard work feel seen.
Q: What was your favorite learning experience?
Sasscer: Taking tennis. It was a refreshing break from traditional classes and reminded me how valuable it is to try something new and stay active.
Q: What experience prepared you the most for what is next?
Sasscer: My internship at Keller Williams prepared me the most, supported by key moments in MIS 250 and Comm 230W. The internship gave me real-world experience with leads, clients and colleagues. MIS 250 strengthened my Excel and information‑systems skills. Comm 230W sharpened my writing for marketing campaigns and listing ads.
Q: Who at Penn State Scranton has supported you and how?
Sasscer: I’ve felt supported by many of my professors, but the person who supported me most was my adviser and professor, Paul Perrone. He was incredibly easy to work with and helped tailor my education plan so I could get the most out of my time here. His guidance made a huge difference in my academic journey.
