UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — On March 22 at 1:30 p.m. in the Freeman Auditorium in the HUB Robeson Center, the Schreyer Honors College Student Council will host an autoimmune disease panel focused on increasing awareness, fostering dialogue and building community among students living with chronic health conditions. The event will feature student and professional perspectives on navigating diagnosis, academics, advocacy and career paths while managing autoimmune diseases. A moderated discussion will be followed by an open question-and-answer session.
As autoimmune conditions affect a significant number of college students, often invisibly, this panel aims to create space for honest conversation and support on campus.
The event, open to the public, will also count for engagement points for the Paterno Fellows Program, Schreyer Honors College Student Council, and the Schreyer Honors College living learning community, the GLOBE, to further encourage student involvement and cross-campus participation.
Please register in advance. Food will be provided.
