UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State Schreyer Honors College will be hosting its 13th annual Connect Networking and Career Day from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, in the Business Building, University Park.

More than 80 Scholar alumni from a range of career paths will be returning to mentor current Scholars. During the conference, Scholars will learn from alumni during panel conversations and can practice their networking skills throughout the day. Scholars will have the opportunity to ask questions about fields they may be interested in and can discover new paths post-graduation.

Connect is sponsored by the David S. Rocchino Family Foundation and is supported by the Scholar Alumni Society Board.

“Connect is successful each year because the event brings together Scholars and alumni around career topics and informational sessions,” said Matt Ishler, director of career services in Schreyer. “The Scholars' curiosity about the experiences of our alumni, combined with the desire of our alumni to meet and mentor Scholars, sets a foundation for relationships to form during Connect that will last beyond this single event.”

Schreyer Scholars from all colleges and campuses are encouraged to attend and can RSVP online. Questions about the event can be emailed to Schreyer’s career development team at SHCCareerDev@psu.edu.
