Students at all campuses and in all colleges are eligible

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State faculty, staff, students and community members still have the opportunity to submit a nomination for the 2026 Stand Up Awards. Sponsored by the Rock Ethics Institute, these awards honor Penn State undergraduate students who have demonstrated courage, fortitude and ethical leadership by taking a stand for a person, cause or belief.

Award winners receive a $1,000 prize and will be honored at the 2026 Stand Up Awards ceremony at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, on the University Park campus.

The deadline for nominations has been extended to Feb. 20. Undergraduate students from all Penn State campuses are eligible. Any faculty, staff, student or community member can submit a nomination.

Established in 2008, the Stand Up Awards are supported through a generous gift from Charles, Joan and Emily Rolling.
