WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Chef Charles R. Niedermyer, instructor of baking and pastry arts/culinary arts at Pennsylvania College of Technology, was selected to serve on the advisory council for the 2026 Salon du Chocolat New York.
Salon du Chocolat is an international trade and consumer show dedicated to the chocolate and cocoa industry. Since it was established in Paris in 1994, it has been held 237 times, with 15 events occurring every year on four continents.
The 2026 Salon du Chocolat NYC is scheduled in March at Center 415 in midtown Manhattan. It is slated to include the biggest names in the chocolate world, from celebrity chocolatiers and the world’s finest chocolate artisans, to leading chocolate brands. Eighty chocolate exhibitors from a dozen countries are expected to showcase their craft for trade professionals and enthusiasts of all ages. The two-day show is open to the public, with tickets available through the event’s website.
Niedermyer was among those sharing their expertise at the 2025 edition of Salon du Chocolat NYC. He presented a workshop in the event’s Culinary Theater.
