WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – A Pennsylvania College of Technology student is one of two nationwide to receive the $1,000 Michael Busch Memorial Scholarship, presented by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence Education Foundation.
Brody N. Oswald, of Pilesgrove, New Jersey, earned the scholarship from the nonprofit organization, which evaluates and accredits entry-level automotive technology programs. Oswald is seeking an associate degree in automotive technology.
Established in memory of Michael Busch, the scholarship honors the son of Jim Busch, a former collision shop owner and ASE board member from Issaquah, Washington. Michael was an automotive technology student when he lost his battle with cancer.
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time student in a two- or four-year college or an ASE accredited post-secondary program.
