WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Susquehanna Community Bank has again made a $1,000 Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program donation to the Pennsylvania College of Technology Foundation to assist with dual enrollment at the college.

The bank’s EITC donation, the sixth it has made to the college, will benefit the Penn College Dual Enrollment program, which enables academically qualified high school and career and technology center students to take tuition-free courses for college credit.

The program works with nearly 70 partners across Pennsylvania – allowing more than 2,000 students to earn over 7,000 Penn College credits.

The Penn College Foundation is approved as an Educational Improvement Organization under the EITC program administered by the state Department of Community & Economic Development.

“Susquehanna Community Bank continues to champion Penn College Dual Enrollment, inspiring tomorrow’s workforce through essential applied technology education,” said Elizabeth A. Biddle, Penn College’s senior director of grant management. “We are grateful for their steadfast advocacy and support.”

Susquehanna Community Bank is pleased to continue to partner with Penn College to support dual enrollment,” said Michael Loeh, vice president. “Providing high school students with the ability to earn college credit during their school day provides beneficial experience and builds confidence for their postsecondary pursuits.”
