College of Medicine graduate honored with Alumni Achievement Award

HERSHEY, Pa. — Victoria Heasley, a graduate of Penn State College of Medicine, has been awarded the prestigious Alumni Achievement Award in recognition of her remarkable professional accomplishments. A member of the Class of 2014 from the College of Engineering and a graduate of the College of Medicine in 2018, Heasley exemplifies the spirit of excellence that the award celebrates.

Currently serving as an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and a physician at UC Health, Heasley specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, with additional fellowship training in sports medicine. Her commitment to inclusive healthcare is evident through her founding of the Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities to engage in competitive and leisure activities.

In addition to her clinical and leadership roles, Heasley is deeply involved in research focused on adaptive sports medicine and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of professionals. A Schreyer Scholar and second-generation Penn Stater, she maintains a strong connection to her alma mater, guiding and inspiring students as they navigate their own educational journeys.

Heasley's recognition at the 2025 Alumni Achievement Awards Ceremony not only highlights her impressive accomplishments but also serves as an inspiring example to current students.
