About the chancellor
Richardson joined Penn State in 2015 as chancellor of Penn State Lehigh Valley. Previously, she served in leadership roles at Drexel University and Lehigh University, where her work focused on educational opportunity, community engagement and academic innovation. Richardson has championed initiatives related to entrepreneurship, workforce development and student success while leading significant campus growth and expansion. She holds bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in counseling psychology from the University of Maryland.
