UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Penn State football team hosted its annual local media day event on Aug. 2 at Beaver Stadium on the University Park campus.
Head coach James Franklin was on hand to answer reporters' questions, along with Offensive Coordinator Andy Kotelnicki, Defensive Coordinator Jim Knowles and Special Teams Coordinator Justin Lustig. Individual players were also made available for media interviews and photos.
Reporters were also offered a glimpse of the construction of the temporary stands on the west side of the stadium as part of the ongoing Beaver Stadium revitalization project.
Media day concluded with journalists observing and shooting select periods of practice at the Lasch Building's practice fields.
Penn State will kick off its season hosting Nevada on Aug. 30 at Beaver Stadium.
