UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — New Penn State head coach Matt Campbell and the Nittany Lions dominated the Marshall Thundering Herd, 45-0, to open the 2026 campaign.
An announced crowd of 108,489 was on hand to witness Campbell's first victory on Sept. 5 at Beaver Stadium at University Park campus.
