UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Go, the University’s official mobile app, will expand this fall to include a web version that students can access on desktop and laptop computers. The web version will offer the same convenience as the mobile app by providing a one-stop hub for academic tools, services, events and other campus information.
Students will be able to quickly reach commonly used Penn State resources, including the Canvas and Starfish dashboards. Their experience will also be customized with features such as a welcome widget, quick links, news, event updates and other personalized content. Optimized for desktop and laptop use, the site enhances flexibility for students who prefer to work from a larger screen.
At launch, the resource will be available to students, but not to parents and families, alumni or guests.
The new Penn State Go web version is in preview mode and can be accessed by visiting go.psu.edu. Current visitors are encouraged to offer feedback to the project team. The final version of the site will be released on Oct. 1.
