UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — In March, as part of Penn State IT’s annual audit and security measures, managers and supervisors across Penn State will be required to review and validate access to such IT systems and applications as LionPATH, SIMBA, Workday and Adobe Creative Cloud (for staff members only) for their direct reports.

On March 17, managers and supervisors will receive an email from IdentityIQ (IIQ), the University’s enterprise identity and access management tool, prompting them to log into the IIQ platform and confirm that each employee has access to the information systems they need to perform their job responsibilities. The deadline for completing the access review is April 16, after which any unverified access will be automatically removed to ensure compliance.

The access review and validation process via IIQ makes it easier for managers and supervisors to ensure their employees can access the IT systems and applications they need and improves security by removing unnecessary access.

For IIQ access review instructions, visit IdentityIQ (IIQ): Annual Access Review on the Penn State IT Knowledge Base.
