Seven employees recognized for achieving 25 years of service

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Human Resources is recognizing seven full-time faculty, staff and technical employees who celebrated 25 years with the University in December.   

The individuals are: 

  • Gregory Corbin, Office of Physical Plant 
  • Phillip Homan, Office of Physical Plant 
  • John Ellenberger, Penn State IT 
  • Tracy Walker, Auxiliary and Business Services 
  • Gavin Robertson, College of Medicine 
  • Deborah Tomazin, College of Medicine 
  • Joyeux Frank, Penn State Altoona 

Please join us in recognizing these Penn Staters for their valued contributions, and for their dedication to the University’s mission to serve our students and our fellow Pennsylvanians.  

The Years of Service Recognition Program, launched in fall 2024, recognizes and celebrates the hard work and dedication of full-time faculty, staff and technical service employees across Penn State. The program offers awards and gifts to employees for milestone anniversaries, starting with their first and third years of employment at Penn State.     

Employees who reach their 25-year anniversary receive a personalized Penn State-themed numeral marking their milestone and are invited to select a gift from the Years of Service Recognition Program catalog, which includes the traditional rocking chair and captain’s chair among the gift options.
