HERSHEY, Pa. — More than 700 student dancers and thousands of student volunteers will unite at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center, Feb. 21-23, for the 53rd annual THON Weekend 46-hour, no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon.

The largest student-run philanthropy in the world, THON engages more than 16,500 students each year in raising awareness and funds to conquer childhood cancer and culminates with the dance marathon. All THON proceeds benefit Four Diamonds in its mission to conquer childhood cancer. The funds help children being treated at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital and their families through superior care and comprehensive support. They also support researchers at Penn State College of Medicine who are turning groundbreaking discoveries into lifesaving treatments for childhood cancer.
