HERSHEY, Pa. — Penn State Health has appointed Kyle Snyder as president and chief operating officer and Tracy Moyer as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

These appointments underscore the health system's commitment to enhancing its mission to provide compassionate, high-quality care to the communities it serves.

“Tracy and Kyle are leaders who have demonstrated unwavering dedication, strategic vision and the ability to lead through complexity and change,” said Michael Kupferman, CEO of Penn State Health. “Their appointments are a testament to the strength of our internal leadership pipeline and our shared commitment to advancing Penn State Health’s strategic goals.”

Moyer, who has served as interim CFO since June, previously held the role of senior vice president of system financial services. With more than 20 years of experience at Penn State Health, she has led enterprise-wide financial strategy, integration and modernization efforts. Moyer’s leadership on the Epic transition steering committee has been vital as the system adopts its new electronic health record and revenue cycle management system.

“I’m honored to serve in this role and excited for the next chapter of our journey,” Moyer said. “Although the health care industry faces financial challenges, I’m confident that by focusing on efficiency, transformation initiatives and revenue growth, Penn State Health will not only meet these challenges head-on but also strengthen our ability to thrive and serve our communities with excellence.”

Snyder, previously regional president overseeing Holy Spirit and Hampden medical centers, has led transformative initiatives to elevate quality, expand services and strengthen academic partnerships. With over two decades of experience in hospital operations and strategic development, he brings a deep understanding of the system and the region.

“Penn State Health plays a vital role in delivering expert, reliable care to Southcentral Pennsylvania. I’m honored to lead a team so deeply committed to our mission and proud of the capabilities we’ve built together,” Snyder said. “With investments in new hospitals and advanced technology like Epic, we’re well positioned to enhance access, quality and safety. I’m excited to help drive our evolution into a world-class health system.”

Snyder will collaborate with outgoing COO Deborah Addo through October to ensure a seamless transition. Addo's leadership has been instrumental in guiding Penn State Health through significant growth and operational advancement.

As Snyder transitions into his new role, Leslyn Williamson, currently chief nursing officer and chief operating officer for the West Shore region, will become regional president of Holy Spirit and Hampden medical centers. Snyder and Williamson will work together to finalize the new leadership structure for the West Shore hospitals.
