HERSHEY, Pa. – Two Penn State Health hospitals have been named to Healthgrades’ America’s Best Hospitals list for 2025.
- Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center was recognized as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for the second year in a row, placing it among the top 1% in the nation for providing the highest clinical quality year over year.
- Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center was recognized as one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals, placing it in the top 5% in the nation for consistently delivering clinical quality.
According to Healthgrades, to determine the top hospitals for 2025, it evaluated mortality and complication rates for more than 30 of the most common conditions and procedures at approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide. Their findings highlight a significant gap in performance between the nation’s highest- and lowest-performing hospitals — underscoring the importance of seeking care at top-rated facilities.
“This recognition highlights Penn State Health’s commitment to providing safe, high-quality care and affirms our vision to be Pennsylvania’s most trusted healthcare organization,” said Deborah Addo, interim chief executive officer, president and chief operating officer for Penn State Health. “It is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our physicians, nurses and staff, who consistently strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.”
