UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Morgan Lapp, daughter of Philip Lapp and Laura Clegg of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, will serve as the college marshal for the College of Health and Human Development at Penn State’s fall commencement ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 21.

Lapp will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders (CSD). She was a member of Delta Zeta, most recently serving as vice president of philanthropy. She was also a member of the THON Rules and Regulations Committee and the Panhellenic Circle of Sisterhood Committee — a charity dedicated to removing barriers to education for girls and women globally. She was also a CSD peer mentor.

Lapp volunteered with Mission of Mercy Pittsburgh — a free, two-day dental, vision and hearing clinic that takes place annually in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She was the recipient of the 2025 Communication Disorders Award in the College of Health and Human Development, the 2025 Evan Pugh Scholar Junior Award, the 2024 President Sparks Award, and the 2023 President Walker Award.

After graduation, Lapp plans to attend an audiology doctoral program to continue pursuing her dream of becoming an audiologist.
