About the chancellor

Callejo Pérez became chancellor and dean of Penn State Harrisburg in 2024. He joined Penn State in 2019 as associate vice president and senior associate dean for academic programs for the Commonwealth Campuses and later served as interim vice president for Commonwealth Campuses. Previously, he held academic leadership roles at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, West Virginia University, and Saginaw Valley State University. Callejo Pérez holds degrees from Florida International University and the University of Mississippi.
