MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — The following is a collection of events happening around Penn State Harrisburg next week.

Penn State Laureate Michele Dunleavy: Improvising a Life: How “yes and” shaped my artistic journey and defined by career11:30 a.m., Feb. 3, Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre, Student Enrichment Center. A performance by 2024-25 Penn State Laureate and dance professor Michele Dunleavy. For the last 20 years, improvisation played a central role in her creative processes. In Improvising a Life, she will draw on experiences as an educator, choreographer and performer to illustrate how she uses improvisation in her work. This event includes live and recorded performance, storytelling, and the potential for audience participation.

A Conversation with Richard Zeigler – The Power of Compounding: How to Become a Millionaire11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Feb. 5, Olmsted Gallery Lounge W107 With 47 years leading R.E. Ziegler Remodeling and Construction and a wealth of experience in investment, Ziegler will share his insights. Don't miss this chance to hear his incredible journey, including lessons in resilience, investment, and giving back. Lunch/refreshments will be served.

The Surge of Antisemitism in Psychological Organizations: An Analysis12-1 p.m., Feb. 7, online. The Center for Holocaust and Jewish Studies will host Julie R. Ancis of the New Jersey Institute of Technology will give a webinar titled “The Surge of Antisemitism in Psychological Organizations: An Analysis.” This event is free and open to the public. Black History Month Art & Photography Exhibit: The Unsung Patriots of the American Revolution – February 3-14, Olmsted Atrium and Feb. 17-26 during common hour on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays or by appointment, Kulkarni Theatre. Join us for an engaging multi-semester project highlighting the contributions of African American soldiers during the American Revolution. Under the guidance of Beatrice Epwene, assistant teaching professor of communications in the School of Humanities, students in the African American Studies 100 course have created profiles of courageous patriots that will be displayed at this exhibition. Throughout the month, this moving exhibition will showcase the profiles, with each week's display featuring a different set of posters. An opening reception will be held in the Olmsted Atrium at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 3.
