MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Entrepreneurs will have a chance to test out their ideas at the 2025 Idea TestLab, sponsored by the Penn State Beaver, Harrisburg, Mont Alto, New Kensington (The Corner), Shenango and York LaunchBoxes.

Applications are being accepted now through March 17 for this free, five-week, virtual accelerator. Entrepreneurs will learn more about exploring the viability of their business ideas, identifying their target customers and refining their business models.

The partnership among Penn State campuses gives participants the opportunity to connect with startups across Pennsylvania and access a diverse network of successful industry coaches, mentors and small business resource providers.

No affiliation with Penn State is required for participation, and any Pennsylvania-based entrepreneur is welcome to apply. The Idea TestLab accelerator consists of weekly online classes and one-on-one coaching support. Classes will be held virtually on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. in April and May 2025.

The program is made possible in part by a grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Community & Economic Development.

For more information and to apply, visit the Penn State York Launchbox site or contact hbglaunchbox@psu.edu or yorklaunchbox@psu.edu.
