Penn State Harrisburg celebrates fall 2025 commencement

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg hosted its fall 2025 commencement ceremony on Dec. 20 to mark the graduates of the class of 2025’s completion of their academic experience and to recognize their accomplishments. The ceremony was held at the Giant Center in Hershey. 

Penn State Harrisburg alum Ariel Gardner, who is a small mammal ectotherm animal keeper at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, delivered the keynote address. Sumana Moosavi, who received a bachelor of arts in political science during the ceremony, served as the student speaker. 

Student marshals for the fall ceremony were: Giulia Cantella, School of Behavioral Sciences and Education; Dhruvikumari Patel, School of Business Administration; Justice “Phoenix” VanSkyhawk, School of Humanities; Malcolm Jenkins, School of Public Affairs; Carolyn Albert, School of Science, Engineering, and Technology; and Madeline Reese, J. Jeffrey and Ann Marie Fox Graduate School.
