MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg has announced a new partnership with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General to offer a 15% tuition discount on residential graduate school programs at the college to all Office of Attorney General employees and their eligible family members.
This latest partnership is an extension of the partnership the college has with the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, with the goal of improving the recruitment and retention of high-performing employees to serve state agencies and deliver the services that Pennsylvanians rely on each day.
“At Penn State Harrisburg, we are proud to help make higher education more accessible to the public servants who contribute to the well-being of our communities across the commonwealth,” said Penn State Harrisburg Chancellor David Callejo Pérez. “We are pleased to partner with the Office of Attorney General to expand educational opportunities to their employees and their families to support workforce development and empower them to achieve their academic and professional goals.”
Penn State Harrisburg offers a broad range of graduate programs — including master’s degree programs, doctoral programs, joint and concurrent degrees, graduate and postbaccalaureate certificates, and certifications and endorsements for educators.
This partnership focused on residential graduate programs with strong potential to support career advancement for Office of Attorney General employees. Master’s degree programs span business and accounting; public affairs and criminal justice; communications and the humanities; education and behavioral sciences; health professions; computer science and technology; and multiple engineering disciplines.
The effort is designed to respond to evolving workforce needs and strengthen partnerships with the commonwealth of Pennsylvania to expand educational opportunities and career pathways for state employees in the Capital Region.
The college’s nationally accredited programs, flexible scheduling (full- and part-time options), and research opportunities allow students to advance their careers, contribute to high-impact research, and emerge as leaders in their fields.
Penn State Harrisburg also offers career services for professional development and employment assistance, student services, peer support, and connections and affiliations with professional groups. Assistantships and other aid are available for many graduate students.
