MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — The Penn State Harrisburg Professional Sales Education Center, together with the Harrisburg Launchbox Powered by Penn State and Truist Foundation, will host the inaugural AI in Sales Symposium on Feb. 12 in the Capital Union Building (CUB) on campus.
Led by Hossein Hashemi, assistant professor of marketing, and Darrell Bartholomew, associate professor of marketing, the event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in CUB Room 210. The symposium is part of the Truist Empowered Entrepreneurs Executive Seminar Series.
Michael Rodriguez, a sales educator, researcher and consultant with more than 25 years of experience in professional sales, sales technology and analytics, will be the keynote speaker. A professor at East Carolina University, he has dedicated his career to advancing the understanding of customer relationship management, artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI in sales processes.
The half-day event also includes a networking lunch and panel discussion, with panelists Chris Lilly, regional account executive – healthcare services at TEKsystems; Dave Cawley, SAP consultant; Aiden Beiler, Penn State Harrisburg student and entrepreneur; and Jared Kline, customer solutions manager at Fastenal.
