MIDDLETOWN, Pa., — Penn State Harrisburg baseball player James Quici was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association(ABCA)/Rawlings All-America Third Team.
Quici joins Bret Williams, who was recognized four times; Miguel Torres; Dallas Hite; Josh Berzonski; and Blaine Waltimyer, who was recognized twice, as Penn State Harrisburg baseball players to earn all-America honors of any kind.
Quici ranked 21st in the nation in hits with 75, 25th in the country in total bases with 125, and 49th among Division III players in RBIs with 57. The corner outfielder also scored 54 runs, walked 35 times, and stole 19 bases this season.
The Paoli, Pennsylvania, native was named the D3baseball.com Region IV Rookie of the Year and earned first-team all-region recognition from both the ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com. He also secured United East Rookie of the Year honors after being named to the United East All-Conference First Team.
