MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg baseball player Fisher Druck and women’s soccer player Diana Pon were named the United East Male and Female Senior Athletes of the Year for 2025-26.
The highest individual honor the conference bestows, the award represents the epitome of the student-athlete model thanks to their high level of performance in their respective sports, in the classroom, and in their community.
Fisher Druck
Druck was chosen as United East Male Senior Athlete of the Year from a pool of 10 male athletes who earned United East Senior Scholar-Athlete honors for their respective sports in 2025-26.
A native of Lancaster, Druck wrapped up one of the most decorated pitching careers in program history this spring, earning a pair of all-region honors after being named to the United East All-Conference First Team for the third time. He was named the United East Pitcher of the Week in early March, and he received five ABCA/Rawlings and D3baseball.com All-Region accolades and four United East All-Conference honors during his career.
"Fisher has been the model student-athlete for four years," said head coach Ryan Bown. "On the field, he has been the most reliable pitcher in our program, which is why he's the all-time wins leader in our program's history. In the classroom he has dominated just as much, earning both his undergrad and master's in four years. We will miss him greatly next year as he is one of those players you simply can't replace."
Druck is a three-time College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree and was named to the United East All-Academic Team four times. He earned induction into the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society and was the United East Elite 20 Award recipient in 2024. An accounting major, he graduated in May with a 3.88 cumulative GPA.
In addition to his athletic and academic achievements, Druck has also volunteered at the Oak Hill Village Senior Living Home in Middletown, helping with gardening and maintaining outdoor areas for residents, as well as participating in local food drives and events for Meals on Wheels.
Diana Pon
Pon was chosen as United East Female Senior Athlete of the Year from a pool of 11 female athletes who earned United East Senior Scholar-Athlete honors for their respective sports in 2025-26.
A two-year player for Penn State Harrisburg, Pon capped her career with the best statistical season in program history. A Miami, Florida, native, she was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-America Third Teams, and she secured first-team all-region recognition from the United Soccer Coaches. She was named to the United East All-Conference First Team after earning two conference offensive player of the week awards during the 2025 season.
Dating back to her playing days at Penn State Berks, Pon's accolades include an all-America plaudit, three all-region honors, conference player of the year recognition, conference rookie of the year honors, and four all-conference first team selections. In fall of 2025, Pon helped to lead Penn State Harrisburg to a second consecutive conference championship and the first trip to the NCAA Round of 16 in school history.
"When I think of Diana, I think of someone who pursues excellence in everything she does," said former women's soccer head coach Brandon West. "She holds herself to the highest standards both on the field and in the classroom and gives nothing but her best. She has led by example in our program and has been a crucial part in our program's continual growth as a top women's soccer program in the region and nation. Diana has been a great representation of our program and is fully deserving of this award."
Pon was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Third Team for her athletic and academic success. She secured two CSC Academic All-District honors, earned induction in the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society, and garnered four straight conference all-academic awards dating back to her time at Penn State Berks. A finance major, she is working toward earning her master's degree and holds a 3.63 cumulative GPA.
Pon has also honored her heritage as a member of the Panamanian National Team and has volunteered with the Feeding South Florida Mission and Food Bank in her home state.
Druck and Pon will now represent the United East as the conference's nominees for the regional and national athlete of the year awards presented by the Division III Commissioners Association. More about their accomplishments can be found on the Penn State Harrisburg Athletics website.
