About the chancellor
In addition to leading Penn State Greater Allegheny, Nagel’s role as regional chancellor also includes Penn State Fayette and Penn State New Kensington. She joined Greater Allegheny in 2010 as an assistant professor of chemistry and was named chancellor and campus chief academic officer in 2024 after serving in an interim capacity since 2022. Nagel holds a bachelor of science in chemistry from Slippery Rock University and a doctorate in chemistry from Penn State.
