UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State Global, in partnership with CIEE Study Abroad, invites students, faculty and staff to “A Taste of Study Abroad” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27. The event will take place on the lawn between the Boucke and Ritenour buildings, across from the HUB-Robeson Center.
This interactive event offers students the chance to explore global learning opportunities while enjoying a variety of internationally inspired desserts from local vendors. Attendees can learn about education abroad programs, scholarship opportunities, and connect with education abroad advisers. CIEE staff will highlight the 20+ locations where Penn State students can study abroad.
Vendors will be on site serving a variety of desserts, such as matcha custard buns, hojicha cranberry muffins, Taiwanese pineapple cakes, traditional baklava and Latin American favorites such as alfajores, arroz con leche and mazamorra.
All members of the Penn State community are welcome to stop by, grab a treat and discover how study abroad can become part of their academic journey.
CIEE is a long-time education abroad partner of Penn State Global, offering study abroad opportunities around the globe that are open to all academic majors.
