UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Graduate and professional students at Penn State have the opportunity on Monday, March 2, to nominate themselves for elected leadership roles within the Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA), the recognized student government representing all graduate and professional students at Penn State. The one‑day nomination period is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 2.

Students interested in serving in GPSA’s Executive Branch for the 76th Assembly may nominate themselves for the following positions:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Graduate Council Student Caucus Delegates (five positions)

Interested students must submit a nomination through the Discover website (formerly OrgCentral), during the open window. Please note that the nomination link will not be active until the nomination period begins at 9 a.m. on March 2.

GPSA leaders encourage students from all colleges and campuses to consider running, noting that serving in these roles provides opportunities to help influence University‑level decisions, support graduate and professional student needs, and help shape programming for the year ahead.

Students with questions about the nomination process or GPSA involvement can contact chief justice Elian Martinez at emm7214@psu.edu.
