UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State’s Bike Den will offer a free Wheel Building Clinic on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. The clinic is open to Penn State students, faculty, and staff, as well as community members ages 18 and older.
Participants will learn to build a bicycle wheel from scratch, gaining hands-on experience lacing spokes to hubs and rims and assembling the pieces into a finished wheel. We will provide spokes, hubs, and rims, though participants are welcome to bring their own components.
Preregistration is required and closes Oct. 28. Register online.
The Bike Den is located on the ground floor of the West Deck at Penn State’s University Park campus.
