  • Patricia Sobocinski Cooley, a 1990 graduate of the College of Education, retired from Thompson School District R2-J in Loveland, Colorado as a gifted and talented teacher in May.
  • Chris Gamrat, associate teaching professor in the Penn State College of Information Sciences and Technology and a College of Education alum (2010 and 2018), was featured in an article in Penn State News, “Tailoring teaching design to help more students succeed.” Gamrat was also named among the Teaching and Learning Technologies Faculty Advisory Committee members for the 2025-26 academic year.
