"College of Education Alumni Updates" highlights career achievements by College of Education alumni.
- Gabriella Achampong, a juris doctor candidate at Harvard Law School, co-authored an article with Erica Frankenberg, professor of education and demography, “K-12 Voluntary Integration As Brown Turns Seventy” in American Journal of Law and Equality.
- Oliver Dreon, professor of educational foundations at Millersville University, who received a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from Penn State in 2008, has been named the Pennsylvania Teacher Educator of the Year. He received the award from the Pennsylvania Association of Colleges and Teacher Educators on Oct. 23.
- Susan Marshall, who received a bachelor's degree in rehabilitation and human services in 1985 and a master's in counselor education in 1986, recently published a book, "The (Death) Life of the School Counselor: & the Call for Change in Public Education." The book is based on Marshall's 34 years as a school counselor.
