Audrey B. Heller, who graduated from Penn State in 1959 with a master's degree in speech pathology, stepped down from her role as producing artistic director of the Jewish Theatre of Bloomington in January, after 20 years, to become a member of the board of directors and to take the position of play selection manager. In 1996, Heller retired from Indiana University after serving as clinical faculty in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences. She also has a background in theater and served as artistic director of Diversity Theatre, a social issues theater company based in Bloomington, Indiana.
