Alumni Tea in the Art Gallery
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM / November 05, 2025
Penn State Lehigh Valley invites the community to step into a refined tradition on Tuesday, Nov. 5, with a special Afternoon Tea event held in the campus art gallery. The event promises a blend of cultural enrichment, artistic exploration, and timeless charm — all tied to the University’s ongoing commitment to engaging the Lehigh Valley through the arts.
Guests will enjoy a full service of traditional afternoon tea, complete with freshly baked scones, delicate tea sandwiches, and a selection of fine desserts, all accompanied by premium teas in an elegant setting that highlights the gallery's current exhibition.
In addition to the culinary experience, attendees will be treated to a brief historical presentation on the origins and customs of Afternoon Tea, presented by representatives from the historic Sayre Mansion. The program will also feature acclaimed photographer Jane Noel, who will offer an inside look at her creative process and the inspirations behind her current work on display at the gallery.
This event offers an opportunity not only to indulge in a cherished tradition, but also to engage with local art and connect with members of the region’s creative community — a hallmark of Penn State Lehigh Valley’s mission to foster cultural and intellectual growth.
