UNIVERSITY PARK. Pa. — Transportation Services has announced the following service changes and updates ahead of the fall 2025 semester.
ParkWhiz launches as new event parking reservation system for University Park
Transportation Services has announced ParkWhiz as the new parking reservation platform for events at the University Park campus.
Those attending Bryce Jordan Center, Intercollegiate Athletics, and Center for the Performing events can save time and money by purchasing their parking in advance through the Penn State ParkWhiz website. Discounted rates are available through the day before each event.
ParkWhiz offers a user-friendly experience and introduces several new features for Penn State event parking:
- Update vehicle information for your reservation any time before the parking start time listed on users' ParkWhiz pass.
- Transfer a pass to another user via the ParkWhiz website or mobile app.
As part of this transition, ParkMobile, which previously supported parking reservations and digital zone parking at University Park, will end service on campus by the end of August.
HONK, which launched last fall, will continue to serve as the digital payment provider for visitor parking in select campus lots and the day-of-event parking payment platform for Bryce Jordan Center, Center for the Performing Arts, and most Intercollegiate Athletics events.
