UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State THON, the world's largest student-run philanthropy with over 16,500 student volunteers, has announced the dates for THON Weekend 2027. The annual 46-hour, no-sleeping, no-sitting dance marathon will be held Feb. 19-21 at the Bryce Jordan Center on the University Park campus.

In 2026, THON raised a record $18.8 million to benefit Four Diamonds, a national nonprofit gift fund that covers 100% of medical expenses for children impacted by cancer at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital while also funding critical pediatric cancer research through Penn State College of Medicine. Since 1977, THON has raised more than $273 million to support Four Diamonds, its sole beneficiary. This year, Four Diamonds and Penn State THON are celebrating 50 years of partnership.

THON's sixth annual "Ignite The Fight" campaign begins July 1 to kickstart the organization's yearlong effort in the fight against childhood cancer. Members of the public can engage on Penn State THON's Instagram channel and stay informed throughout the year on THON's news site.
