Registration now open for 2026 Graduate Women in Science National Conference

'Innovate, Influence, Inspire' is a one-day professional and personal development event for individuals in STEM at all career stages

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Registration is now open for the 2026 Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) National Conference, “Innovate, Influence, Inspire," a one-day professional and personal development event for individuals in STEM at all career stages. The conference will be held 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, in Heritage Hall, 122 HUB-Robeson Center, on the University Park campus.

Hosted by the State College GWIS Chapter at Penn State University Park, the conference is open to undergraduate and graduate students, post-docs, faculty, staff and professionals of all genders.

The cost is $5 for Penn State Students and $6 for non-Penn State students and professionals. Registration includes meals, professional headshots, workshops, swag, and limited one-on-one coaching opportunities.

Giana Amador, co-founder of Carbon180 and executive director of the Carbon Removal Alliance, will be the keynote speaker, alongside an inspiring lineup of accomplished women from diverse STEM fields.

In addition, registered attendees may be selected for exclusive free one-on-one academic life coaching mini-sessions with Latisha Franklin (limited availability).
