Penn State to hold fall 2025 commencement ceremonies Dec. 19-21

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Penn State will hold fall 2025 commencement ceremonies across the commonwealth, Friday, Dec. 19, through Sunday, Dec. 21. 

This fall, Penn State expects to award approximately 4,545 diplomas to students University-wide who are completing 143 associate, 3,203 baccalaureate, 1,010 master's, 184 doctoral, three law and two medical degrees. All figures listed are estimates as of Dec. 15; totals do not include Penn College.

Penn State locations that are holding commencement ceremonies this fall are below.

Penn State University Park

Penn State Transportation Services has announced parking information for University Park fall commencement ceremonies to be held at the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday, Dec. 21.

In the event that people are unable to attend commencement at University Park but would like to join in celebrating their graduate’s achievement, all in-person ceremonies will be viewable via livestream.

  • Ceremony: 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at the Junker Center

  • Keynote speaker: Dennis Prischak, Penn State Alumni Fellow and president and chief executive of the Plastek Group. Ihab Ragai, professor of engineering, will give the faculty address.
